Nahay Khay-
The first day embarks on the purification of the human form or body that we are blessed with. Devotees would cleanse themselves with holy bathes or simple showers early in the morning and prepare Sattvic meals like dal, rice, fruits like pumpkin, etc. to intake pure food.
Lohanda and Kharna-
The second day begins like the first, with cleansing and worship, but this day is a fasting day for devotees. They abstain from even water until sunset and break their fast with kheer, which they share with family and friends.
